OUR TRAVEL BALL
Sharks Basketball Academy has a network of travel teams from 5th grade through 12th grade.
Our vision at Sharks is to provide students that have the passion to play basketball an outlet to do so. We give each player that walks into our facilities the tools to enhance their skillset. In addition, we teach them camaraderie, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Our travel ball operates on a seasonal basis and varies for individual age groups. During the season we practice 2 to 3 times a week and compete in tournaments on the weekends. Tournaments usually run all day long and we play a minimum of 3 games per tournament.

Travel Team Package

Our program for the 2022-2023 season runs from Mid-November through Early-March.

Our teams will practice 2 times per week Tuesday and Thursdays (excluding holiday weeks)

We will play over a span of 18-24 games

Practices will be held between Elmwood Park & Melrose Park

Estimated 45+ hours of practice

9-12 Weekend tournaments in the Aurora area typically 2-3 games in a 4-5 hour range

Focus on the quickness of the game and more advanced concepts such as how to identify and attack defenses, drill work and skill development on track for higher level success, etc...

Professional, experienced coaches at each level who have mastered the drill work, skill development, and game management needed for success at the next level of basketball

A full uniform set included with jersey top, shorts, practice jersey, warmup sweatshirt, and warm-up pants
