Join
A player will join one of our basketball camps or our developmental camps to fine-tune their basketball fundamentals.
Attend a Tryout
Once a player is confident about their skills, they're welcome to try out for one of our teams. Tryouts are held annually, which gives players ample chance to hone their skills so they can try out with confidence.
House Leagues
Participate in house leagues for consistent in-town play and to hone skill development.
Train
​Players train with coaches who offer structured feedback on game skills, including shooting, defense, ball handling, and movement.
Compete
Players compete in local games against rival teams, where the stakes of real competition offer the opportunity to apply learned skills under pressure.
Grow
From experiencing the thrill of wins and the sting of loss, our structured programs and competitive tournaments help young players thrive both on and off the court.
What To Expect
Our seasonal travel (or club) teams compete throughout the year. Our fall season starts off our year from mid-August through mid-October. Our winter starts mid-November through early-March. Our spring season runs from mid-March through the end of May. Our summer teams typically compete in June and July. Here's what to expect when you join the Sharks:

Practice twice per week that rotate between Elmwood Park, Melrose Park, Oak Brook Terrace and Bellwood, ensuring accessibility for all athletes

16-20 competitive games each season

Matching uniforms — Full uniform, undershirt, practice jersey and other Sharks gear included

We are active in travel basketball, organizing teams that compete across the Midwest. We host developmental camps and house leagues, meaning youth always have opportunities to play and improve their skills.
